For more than 30 years, Canadvac Travel Services is the specialist for travel into Eastern Canada. We are providing full receptive services to mostly European but also Australian and North American tour operators.

Reservations Agent – Full Time

We are looking for a motivated, detailed and service-oriented individual who will be responsible for FIT reservation requests from our tour operators, requests for information on products, passenger support, and assist with designing travel itineraries based on client’s requirements. Furthermore, the individual shall take the lead within our reservations team, and overview daily reservations duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform administrative duties as required
Receive, answer and direct incoming telephone calls
Respond to queries regarding bookings, itineraries, products and other inquiries from clients and suppliers
Data entry and database maintenance related to Canadvac’s offerings
Process new reservations, cancellations, and amendments to existing reservations
Build relationships with clients and suppliers
Provide passenger assistance
Maintain a high level of geographical knowledge of Eastern Canada and New England
Proof reservations to ensure the accuracy and smooth running of booked itineraries
Assist in the completion of projects, as assigned

Position Requirements:

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Ability to make decisions and resolve problems as they arise
Must be able to communicate effectively orally & written in English, French and/or German
Post-Secondary School Education
4 to 5 years of Tourism or Customer Service experience
Must be able to work evenings and weekends if required
Ability to plan and organize tasks and set priorities
Must be a detailed orientated and well-organized person
